How to Stream NFL Games 2023–2024

YouTube TV is the best live TV streaming service for NFL fans because it's the only streaming service with NFL Sunday Ticket and all of the channels that broadcast NFL games: ABC, CBS, ESPN, FOX, NBC, and NFL Network.

And it gets better. YouTube TV also lets you add the NFL RedZone Channel to your lineup for the season for $11 per month or bundle it with NFL Sunday Ticket. If you don't know what the NFL RedZone Channel is, boy, you're in for a treat.

You'll get to watch the exciting red zone moments of every game during the Sunday morning and afternoon games (for regular season). The NFL Red Zone Channel will jump to whichever team is inside the 20-yard line ready to score, and you'll also get to see replays of crazy great plays, like pick-6s, one-handed grabs, and Hail Marys.

And with NFL Sunday Ticket, you'll be able to access all (over 200) out-of-market games. The NFL Sunday Ticket add-on is $349 a season, and the NFL Sunday Ticket plus NFL RedZone Channel bundle is $389. 

If you're not interested in switching from your current cable TV provider, no sweat! You can order Sunday Ticket without YouTube TV, it'll just cost you an extra $100.

fuboTV carries the most sports channels compared to any TV provider on the market at 50, and it offers the NFL RedZone Channel as an add-on.

All three of fuboTV's plans have ESPN, FOX, NFL Network, and your local ABC, CBS, and NBC channels. So you won't miss a Monday Night Football game airing on ABC and ESPN, or a Sunday Night Football game airing on CBS or NBC.

fuboTV offers the NFL RedZone Channel in its Sports Plus add-on for $11 per month, the same price as YouTube TV. But fuboTV's add-on includes 23 sports channels, while YouTube TV's includes only 14.

Hulu + Live TV has ABC, CBS, ESPN, FOX, NBC, and this streaming service now has NFL Network and offers the NFL RedZone Channel. (We like this upgrade, Hulu.)

I must say Hulu Live is excellent for both fans of the National Football League and on-demand content. You're going to get access to most of the broadcast games, and you'll get a library full of Hulu's great Originals, TV shows, and movies.

Hulu comes in third because it's essentially $18 extra per month compared to YouTube TV if you want your on-demand content to be ad-free (but it does include Disney+ and ESPN+).

DIRECTV's streaming service has the ABC, CBS, ESPN, NBC, FOX, and NFL Network channels in its CHOICE package and above. (The ENTERTAINMENT entry-level plan doesn't have NFL Network.)

I should highlight that the CHOICE package ($85/month) is more expensive than fuboTV's Pro plan, and Pro gives you 40 more channels and 1,000 hours of DVR storage space.

Although more expensive, streaming DIRECTV provides you with unlimited Cloud DVR storage, so you won't miss a thing this football season.

We recommend DIRECTV streaming to sports fans who like a traditional TV feel or want premium channels in their lineup, but we think your money could be better spent with YouTube TV or fuboTV.

If you don't want a live TV streaming service, I have some standalone streaming services and network app suggestions.

Although there are network app options that require a cable or satellite TV subscription, I'll also give you a couple of options that don't require the traditional TV commitment.

Unlike the live TV streaming services, these services aren't ranked. They're just additional options for streaming that may be more convenient or less expensive. Besides Amazon Prime Video. You're going to need Prime Video for TNF.

If you want to watch the Thursday Night Football game and you have an Amazon Prime membership, then you have the keys in your hands. TNF games will not air anywhere else.

You'll get every Thursday NFL game with Amazon Prime Video, along with free quick shipping, for the price of one takeout meal. Take our money.

This streaming service gives you access to all of the games aired on CBS for $5–$10 per month!

With Paramount+, you'll get to watch about three to five regular-season games per weekend, the Washington and Cowboys Thanksgiving game, AFC Wild Card and divisional AFC Playoffs, and the AFC Championship Game. (There will also be a few NFC games in the mix.)

We know we like services with channels that air post-regular season games (they can be hard to come by).

NFL+ has two subscription choices: NFL+ and NFL+ Premium.

An NFL+ subscription lets you stream all preseason games on your smartphone or tablet, local and primetime regular and postseason games, and gives you access to an on-demand library of NFL programming.

So this NFL streaming service makes it easy for you to stream your Dallas Cowboys games if you live in the area.

An NFL+ Premium subscription grants you access to complete and condensed game replays, as well as Coaches Film. This is where you get to enjoy all-22 angle coaches film to break down film like the pros. (Now, that's fun.)

If you want to watch an NFL game aired on FOX while you're sitting in the long grocery store line, get the Fox Sports Go app and sign in with your cable or satellite TV provider.

Sign in, and then you can open up the app to watch the current game, which could be your Green Bay Packers or Minnesota Vikings (and hopefully not disappointing you like the first few weeks of the season).

NBC often gets the best matchups for their primetime slots. Watch the New England Patriots and Minnesota Vikings game on Thanksgiving Day through the NBC Sports app, as well as most Sunday Night Football games.

Sign in with your cable or satellite TV provider, and watch the game on your smartphone under the table during Thanksgiving dinner (I won't tell).

Stream all 2023 and 2024 Monday Night Football games on the WatchESPN app by signing in with your TV provider. You'll also be able to stream up to 10 ESPN channels.

You're not going to want to miss an important game for the Los Angeles Rams and the Green Bay Packers in Week 15 as every win is essential at this point.

Sign in with your TV provider on the NFL Mobile app and get local market games, some primetime games and playoff games.

Keep in mind, you won't be able to stream Sunday afternoon out-of-market games with the NFL Mobile app, but you'll be able to watch national games, like when the Las Vegas Raiders play the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5 on MNF.

I found the best streaming options for you, fellow NFL fan, whether you want to cut the cord and subscribe to a live TV streaming service or want to stream through your cable or satellite TV provider. (I mean, maybe this opens up the option to grab your parents' sign-in details for Xfinity or DISH.)

Overall, I can say this about each of the streaming picks for watching NFL games this 2023–2024 season:

• YouTube TV: YouTube TV is the best live TV streaming option for all NFL football fans at $73 per month. You'll get ABC, CBS, ESPN, FOX, NBC, and NFL Network. Not only will you get all of the channels for the full broadcasts, but YouTube TV also offers the NFL RedZone Channel in its Sports Plus add-on for $11 per month AND it's the only place you'll find NFL Sunday Ticket—a ticket to watch all out-of-market games.
• fuboTV: fuboTV is similar to YouTube TV with having all six must-need NFL channels in its lineup and offers the NFL RedZone Channel. fuboTV ($75-$95/month) is also the best pick for sports because it has the most sports channels in the industry.
• Hulu + Live TV: Hulu Live has upgraded and now has NFL Network to give NFL fans a complete lineup for the 2023–2024 season. Hulu Live also has lots of on-demand content, and you can choose to get the limited ads plan for $70 per month or no ads for $83 per month.
• DIRECTV streaming: DIRECTV streaming has all six channels for NFL game-watching in the CHOICE package and above ($85–$155/month), but we only recommend this service to those who want a traditional TV feel or included premium channels. Otherwise, we think you will get more for your buck if you go with YouTube TV or fuboTV.
• Amazon Prime Video: When you subscribe as an Amazon Prime member ($9–$15/month), you'll get access to Amazon Prime Video, free rapid shipping, but especially, all Thursday Night Football games. That means you can watch the full broadcast of the Week 8 Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Buffalo Bills game while shopping on your smartphone.
• Paramount+: Get access to all of the games aired on CBS, as well as AFC Wild Card, playoff, and Championship games for $5-$10 per month. Oh, and don't forget! You'll be able to stream the 2024 Super Bowl with Paramount+.
• NFL+: For $5–$10 per month or $30–$40 per year, get NFL+ for access to local and primetime games during the regular and postseason right on your cell phone!
• Fox Sports Go app: Watch all games aired on FOX on the go with this app when you sign in with your TV provider.
• NBC Sports app: Sign in with your cable or satellite TV provider to watch the evening Thanksgiving NFL game, as well as most Sunday Night Football games.
• WatchESPN app: You can watch all of the Monday Night Football games and 10 ESPN channels with this app when you sign in with your TV provider.
• NFL Mobile app: Sign in with your TV provider and get local games, some primetime games, and playoff games on your smartphone. This is convenient if you have a satellite or cable TV provider, but need to watch the game on-the-go.
