When is the Super Bowl?

Super Bowl LVII 2023 is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. (MT) on Sunday, February 12. It will be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona where the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Philadelphia Eagles.

Get your jersey, your snacks, and TV setup ready for game day ASAP. I know I'll be having my pizza (and maybe Chiefs jersey) ready to go.

If you’re here to find out where you can watch Rihanna (or Ri-Ri, we Pon De Replay fans like to say) for the halftime show, we got you covered there as well.

This year, the Super Bowl will be on FOX, so we’ll tell you about the best services for this channel. Let’s get the game goin’.

How can I watch Super Bowl LVII 2023?

The Super Bowl will be on FOX this year, so you'll need to know which TV providers have this essential channel. So don’t let the fam down (like the Cleveland Browns do every year) and grab one of these services.

We created a list of the top five providers with this channel, which includes our favorite live TV streaming service, cable TV provider, and satellite TV provider.

Sign up for one ASAP so you don't miss out on the Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce duo that we've been so awestruck with all season long.

Our favorite live TV streaming service and favorite streaming service for sports is our favorite live TV option for the Super Bowl.

fuboTV has FOX in all of its packages so you can watch the big game, but what might truly win you over is this:

fuboTV gives you access to more than 50 sports channels! It's truly a dream come true.

That's the most sports channels any TV provider in the industry offers! Seriously. Now you see why we consider fuboTV the MVP.

Additionally, each package comes with 1,000 hours of Cloud DVR storage, and the fam can stream on 10 devices at once. (That might not be needed for most, but you will never have to worry about someone else kicking you out of the app.)

Check out our full review to see which sports and family channels are in each fuboTV package and how it has one of the best interfaces. Or jump down to the Sling TV section to see its offer for Super Bowl fans.

Comcast Xfinity has got you covered with the FOX channel for watching Jalen Hurts' magic, and over 185 other channels for you and the family.

Xfinity is the best cable TV provider because it’s widely available across the country, reasonably priced for the number of channels your receive, and has a great DVR to record loads of sporting events.

But first, record the Super Bowl. Of course you'll be paying attention to the game because you put some money on it, but we know how loud the family can get during the impressive SB commercials.

Recently, Xfinity removed its contracts. (That's what we like to see, Xfinity.) But check out our review on the monthly fees you'll have to budget for. Unfortunately, all cable TV providers have those pesky little things.

Sling TV gives you FOX, FOX Sports, CNN, Disney Channel, and ESPN. For $40–$55 per month, how could you not jump on this deal like a defensive lineman jumps on a loose ball?

So if you want to stream the Super Bowl and then turn on BBC America for some news (while saving money monthly), Sling might be your No. 1 pick.

And when you sign up today, you can get Sling TV for half off! (That means more money for game snacks.)

Sling TV also gives you many options for package customization to tailor your TV experience the way you like it. If you want more sports, news, kids, or lifestyle channels, Sling makes it possible.

But if you plan to record future NFL games, keep in mind that Sling TV only comes with a 50-hour Cloud DVR storage, or you can opt-in for the 200 hours of recording space for $5 per month.

DISH is the best satellite TV service for the Super Bowl

America's Top 200$99.99/mo.‡‡240+

Data as of 06/06/23. Offers and availability vary by location and are subject to change.
‡‡ All offers require credit qualification, 2-year commitment with early termination fee and eAutoPay. Prices include Hopper Duo for qualifying customers.

DISH TV has the best pricing if you're considering a satellite TV option (compared to DIRECTV), and all four of its plans have the FOX channel to watch the Chiefs and Eagles matchup.

Serious sports fans will want America's Top 200 because you'll get access to 23 sports channels (including 11 TUDN channels) in your 240-channel lineup. This plan includes NFL Network, NBA TV, MLB Network, NBC Sports Network, and Longhorn Network.

And when you upgrade to America's Top 250, you'll receive BeIN SPORTS channels.

FYI: the promotional pricing above is only guaranteed when you sign a 2-year contract. If you don’t want to be tied down, you’ll have to spend about $10–$15 more per month.

^^ For the first 12 months.

If you’d rather have a smoother checkout process for bundling and you need to watch the QB showdown between Mahomes and Hurts on FOX, we recommend Spectrum TV.

Spectrum TV's pricing is $10 more per month than Xfinity TV, and your price does increase in year two. But consumers find Spectrum's customization of your bundle to be easier than Xfinity's.

If you want all major sports channels, like NFL Network, NBA TV, and MLB Network, to watch after the Super Bowl, there are better choices than Spectrum. Of course we NFL fans cannot live without NFL Network!

Xfinity has a way better selection of sports channels than Spectrum. Spectrum has nine sports channels, including Bally Sports, ESPN, FS1, and PAC-12 Network, while Xfinity has 22.

Honorable mentions
Light Bulb

A few TV providers didn’t make the Top 5 cut but are still great options, like YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, DIRECTV streaming, DIRECTV satellite TV, and Verizon Fios TV.

YouTube TV and Hulu Live have a lower value than fuboTV. DIRECTV's streaming service is the priciest live TV streaming service, and DIRECTV satellite has two-year contracts.

Who is performing at the Super Bowl Halftime Show?

Coming off of a 6-year break from music, Rihanna will be performing at the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show. And to make it even more spectacular, there is rumor we could see some of these other great artists as her guests on stage:

Jay-Z, Kanye West, Eminem, Shakira, Kendrick Lamar, Coldplay, Paul McCartney, Calvin Harris, and Jeezy.

Either way, there was Love on the Brain when Rihanna accepted this opportunity. And we know she’s going to Work that stage and Pour It Up, so bring an Umbrella.

Ri-Ri, do your things and Don’t Stop the Music. And you will want to Stay for her to Take a Bow. So, don't miss this memorable performance that will take place sometime between 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. ET.

Recap: Which is the best TV service for Super Bowl LVII 2023?

Of course you’re here because you want to figure out the best way to watch the Super Bowl with or without cable. Let us recap why a football fan should get one of these services:

  • fuboTV: fuboTV lets you stream the FOX channel for the 2023 SB, and you can also get more than 50 sports channels among your 205–215+! You won't find this many sports channels, or total channels in general, with another live TV service provider.
  • Xfinity TV: Xfinity TV is our favorite cable option for Super Bowl LVII as it is the most widely available cable TV provider in the US and has an excellent price tag. You’ll get FOX, 23 sports channels, and up to 185 total channels.
  • Sling TV: This live TV streaming service is a great option for NFL fans to watch Pat Mahomes vs. Jalen Hurts and to stream NFL Network for the rest of the year for only $40–$55 per month.
  • DISH TV:  If you’re looking for the best satellite TV option for the 2023 Super Bowl, DISH is it. DISH gives you FOX, and 190 channels total for $80 per month. Or get the package for sports fans: the $100 plan with 240 channels, including 23 sports channels.
  • Spectrum TV: This cable TV provider is also widely available across the US, but it has an excellent checkout process for those who want their bundle their TV service with internet and mobile. Watch the big game on FOX with this provider, and get the NFL RedZone add-on, but you'll have to find NFL Network elsewhere.
